eB2Bcom (Asia Pacific) Pte Ltd wins fourth Identity Management contract with MaXware Identity Management Solutions
SINGAPORE – 22nd January 2007 and TRONDHEIM 22nd January 2007
eB2Bcom (Asia Pacific) Pte Ltd, a leading South East Asian based provider of specialist Identity Management software solutions, today announced the signing of a fourth contract for MaXware Identity solutions in Singapore.
eB2Bcom (Asia Pacific) Pte Ltd (“eB2Bcom”) has signed its fourth major deal for implementing MaXware Identity Management technology with a Singaporean Homeland Security Agency. Data synchronisation and the control of identities are the key solutions of interest currently in the ASEAN marketplace, according to Andrew Ferguson, Director Business Development for eB2Bcom Asia Pacific.
“Many organisations now recognise the importance of managing identity data across the enterprise and are seeking solutions that can assist them in ensuring compliance with both local and international standards,” he said. “The MaXware product set offers a robust, well tried and extremely cost effective set of solutions that delivers a rapid return on investment for users. These MaXware solutions play an important role in the development and growth of our Identity Solutions business in South East Asia”,continues Ferguson.
Within the last 10 months eB2Bcom has been focussing on identifying, marketing and promoting Identity Solutions to the regional Government, Financial and Homeland Security markets resulting in this latest contract which follows those with Singapore Defence and a major financial institution.
David Rolls, Executive Chairman of eB2Bcom, said that eB2Bcom saw many opportunities in the South East Asian marketplace for the proven and capable MaXware Identity Centre and Data synchronisation solutions. According to Mr. Rolls, a major factor in the product’s acceptance was its flexibility and independence from often restrictive proprietary vendor architectures.
David Rolls went onto to say that MaXware Identity solutions were a natural fit for Identity Management solutions for eB2Bcom’s business. eB2Bcom has a team of highly qualified and experienced technical staff based in the ASEAN Region (two of whom are authors of the recently announced updated LDAP standards.) This has provided the basis for a successful track record with over 50 major Government, Defence, Police and Financial customers in the Region.
MaXware CEO Stale Svenning said “appointing eB2Bcom (Asia Pacific) Pte as our ASEAN distributor, with their corporate knowledge of MaXware product solutions and their depth of expertise in Identity Management solutions, has proven to be an excellent choice and we look forward to a major growth of our solution set in the ASEAN marketplace.” Stale further said that MaXware has continued to achieve a major penetration into meeting the identity management requirements of those organisations such as Defence, Police and Intelligence Agencies worldwide which are focussed on the provision of critical infrastructure protection in the more security conscious world, because of our ability to meet the stringent reporting, operating and security requirements of these organisations as well as the practical experience of delivering solutions in this exacting market sector..
